Music By the Lake for August 20th......

We invite everyone out for Music By the Lake on August 20th at the Winchester City Park.  This months featured artist is the Alabama Blues Brothers with special guest Stephen Salyers.  For more information, CLICK HERE.

WELL DONE FRANKLIN COUNTY!

Kevin Frye presented a check to the Muscular Dystrophy Association in the amount of $10,000 during the September 6 MDA Telethon in Nashville. Proceeds were raised during the recent Music By The Lake MDA Day held at the Winchester City Park. The event was sponsored by the Franklin County Kiwanis Club. Co-sponsors were The Herald-Chronicle, City of Winchester, WCDT Radio, Bailey Manor and Russell Barnett Ford. Assisting Kevin with the check presentation were Recording Artist Bo Bice and Franklin County Kiwanis Club Members Brenda Long and Jeannie Bates. Bice performed at the free concert attended by a large crowd. For several years, Kevin has been the driving force for MDA awareness and fund-raising in Franklin County. His efforts have raised thousands of dollars.
